Contract Signing: National Highway 12 Improvement Project
On May 22, 2025, a signing ceremony was held at the Latsavong Building between the Department of Roads, Ministry of Public Works and Transport, and the following joint venture contractors:
Contract 1: Phannivorakit Construction and Transport Co., Ltd., in joint venture with Maneesap Development Construction and Import-Export Sole Co., Ltd.
Contract 2: Vivat Construction Co., Ltd., in joint venture with PA Construction Sole Co., Ltd.
The project aims to improve National Road No. 12, stretching from Thakhek to the Naphao Border Checkpoint in Khammouane Province, covering a total distance of 147.5 kilometers. This development is funded by loans and grants from the Neighbouring Countries Economic Development Cooperation Agency (Public Organization) or NEDA, Thailand.
